As part of our mission to serve and help the people, the following programs and activities have been undertaken:


The Foundation also provides support to Chairman FVR during his trips to various local destinations for university convocations, economic conferences, roundtable discussions with NGOs, the civil society and the academe. Trips in the past include Pangasinan, Negros Occidental, Cebu, Benguet, Davao and South Cotabato.

On top of the Boao Forum for Asia and the Education Forum for Asia, RPDEV also organizes business delegations to other major international conferences such as the Annual CEO Forum and the BFA CEO Summit. RPDEV also organizes business and trade missions to other countries.

Since 2004, RPDEV has been organizing a delegation of Filipino educators from leading institutions to the Education Forum for Asia, a 3-day conference held in China. This forum is organized by the UNESCO, BFA and the China Scholarship China.

Annually, RPDEV as a foundation member of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), organizes a Philippine delegation composed of RPDEV Trustees, government officials, and business executives that attend the BFA’s annual conference in the island resort of Boao, Hainan Province, China.

Friends and supporters of RPDEV gathered at the RCBC Tower Lobby on March 2001 to launch the RPDEV Membership Campaign. More than six hundred guests attended the event. President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo also graced the affair.

RPDEV held its first fundraising concert last September 28, 2005 held at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium of the RCBC Plaza. Entitled “Himig ng Pagkakaisa” the concert highlighted how music can bring us together as a country and people.

On December 15, 2001, RPDEV held the first provincial fellowship and fundraising golf tournament at the Cebu Golf & Country Club. A group of dynamic Cebu based businessmen headed by WG&A Shipping Chair Victor Chiongbian organized this event for RPDEV.

RPDEV first launched the FVR-RPDEV invitational golf tournament on October 24, 1999 at the Nick Faldo Course at the Eagle Ridge Golf & Country Club in General Trias, Cavite. Since the Foundation's launching in August 1999, RPDEV received increased assurances of support and involvement in its activities, and because of this, the RPDEV Board of Trustees decided to put together this event as a fellowship for RPDEV friends and supporters and also to raise funds for the foundation's projects.

A traveling exhibit entitled "Philippines 2000 and Beyond: A Legacy of President Fidel V. Ramos" was developed by RPDEV to accommodate the numerous requests from various sectors interested to learn more about Philippine history and the Ramos Administration. The exhibit was designed to complement the permanent exhibits at the Ramos Library and Museum located at No. 120 Maria Cristina Street, Ayala Alabang Village, Muntinlupa City.

RPDEV sponsored the Manila presentation of the report of the International Commission on Intervention and State Sovereignty (ICISS) entitled "The Responsibility to Protect." This was held on January 11, 2002 at the Kalayaan Room of the Export and Industry Bank Plaza in the City of Makati.
